Ms. FOGGIN joined Bison Security Group in 1999 as a member of our
Insurance Investigation Team. She brings with her an investigations
background which includes expertise in compiling financial histories,
background profiles, undercover operations, pretext approaches,
theft/fire loss investigations, insurance frauds, accidental death
claims, locates and surveillances.
During
her tenure with Bison Security Group, Ms. FOGGIN has conducted numerous
undercover and pretext activities, culminating with her recent deployment
to a client’s fabrication plant for a period of three weeks.
Ms. FOGGIN has conducted investigations relating to trade name use,
and unauthorized use of trade mark logos and identifiers, which
included the appropriate research component.
Prior
to entering the field of Insurance Investigation, Ms. FOGGIN spent
a number of years as an employee of Canada Customs and Revenue Agency
in the Border Services Division. She developed a comprehensive knowledge
of Canadian import and export regulations, immigration law, as well
as the handling of firearms and controlled substances. In this capacity
she served as a member of the East/West Kootenay District Enforcement
Team wherein she dealt strictly with high risk traveller and commercial
shipment searches. Ms. FOGGIN acquired acute interview techniques
in this role, which she continues to develop through her current
investigations. Her frequent contact with Canadian and US Law Enforcement
Agencies equips her with a vast network of unique resources, as
well as a keen appreciation for covert and illegal commercial activity.
Ms.
FOGGIN is a graduate of the University of Lethbridge. She earned
her Bachelor of Fine Arts and Bachelor of Education with distinction
in 1997. Amy seeks new learning opportunities to add to her repertoire
of skills and has since completed Mount Royal College’s Interviewing
Persons with Disabilities Training.
